This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Fascia Innovation Sweden AB ("Fascia Academy") uses on fasciaacademy.com, why, and how you control them. How we use personal data in general is described in our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, a pixel or a script, do the same kind of work. In this policy "cookies" means all of them.
A first-party cookie is set by our own site. A third-party cookie is set by another company whose tool we use. A session cookie disappears when you close the browser; a persistent cookie stays for the time stated below.
Cookies that are strictly necessary to give you something you asked for, such as staying signed in, need no consent. For all other cookies we ask for your consent first, and we do not set them until you give it.
Under both, consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. That is why no box is ticked in advance, why "Necessary only" is as easy to choose as "Accept all", and why you can withdraw your consent as easily as you gave it.
You make your choice in two steps.
We keep a record of your choice (the choice, the time, the version of the banner and a consent identifier) so that we can show that you consented or declined. See the Privacy Policy for how long we keep it.
If you choose "Necessary only", the site works in full. You can still book, buy and sign in.
You can change your mind at any time. Use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. It opens our banner again with your current choice. If you have allowed marketing, it also gives you a button to open the Semantiko panel and change your analytics and preferences choices.
When you withdraw marketing consent, we remove the cookies we know of from the tools that were allowed and the page reloads without them. Cookies that another company has set in your browser can also be deleted in your browser settings (section 9).
These make the site work and cannot be switched off in our banner. They are not used for tracking.

These tell us how visitors use the site so we can improve it. They are set only if you allow them. Google Analytics measures visits. Microsoft Clarity can show us replays of how a visit went; we use it to find parts of the site that are hard to use.
| Name | Provider | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_LN2HGMDZEZ | Google Analytics 4 (through Google Tag Manager) | Tells visitors apart and measures how the site is used (pages viewed, time on the site, where visitors come from). | Up to 2 years |
| _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, MR, SM | Microsoft Clarity (through Google Tag Manager) | Records how visitors use the site, including where they click and scroll and replays of visits, to find things that are hard to use. | From the end of the visit up to 13 months (the longest, MUID) |
These let us measure which advertisements lead to a booking or an enquiry, and show relevant advertisements. They are set only if you allow them.
| Name | Provider | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp, _fbc | Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) | Recognises your browser so we can measure which advertisements on Facebook and Instagram led to a booking or an enquiry, and show relevant advertisements. | Up to 90 days |
| _gcl_au, _gcl_aw | Google (conversion linker, through Google Tag Manager) | Links a visit that came from a Google advertisement to a later booking, to measure the result of advertising. | Up to 90 days |
Some pages show content from other companies: films, a map, forms and booking calendars, and fonts. When such content loads, the company receives your IP address and can set its own cookies. Most of it loads when the page opens, so it is not covered by the choices in our banner. The exception is the film on the English pages about the UK programme, which loads only after you press play.
| Name | Provider | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Set by the service | YouTube (Google) | Films on some pages. On the English pages about the UK programme a film loads from youtube-nocookie.com only after you press play. On some Swedish course pages films load from youtube.com when the page opens, and YouTube may then set cookies and receive your IP address. | Set by YouTube, see Google's policy |
| Set by the service | Google Maps | The map on the Swedish course booking page. Google receives your IP address when the map loads and may set cookies. | Set by Google, see Google's policy |
| Set by the service | HighLevel (forms and booking calendars) | The forms and booking calendars on our pages are HighLevel forms shown inside the page. HighLevel and its bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) receive your IP address and may set technical cookies when a form loads. | Set by HighLevel |
Our pages also load web fonts from Google Fonts. Google then receives your IP address. Forms and booking calendars from HighLevel are needed to book a course or register for a webinar; if you prefer not to load them, contact us by email instead.
The privacy policies of these companies apply to what they do with the data: Google (opens in a new tab), HighLevel (opens in a new tab), Meta (opens in a new tab) and Microsoft (opens in a new tab).
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Instructions are on the help pages for Chrome (opens in a new tab), Safari (opens in a new tab), Firefox (opens in a new tab) and Edge (opens in a new tab). If you block all cookies, some parts of the site, such as signing in, will not work.
Write to info@fasciaacademy.com if you have a question about cookies. We update this policy when the cookies we use change; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you want to complain, you can contact the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (pts.se (opens in a new tab)) or, in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab)).
